the pleasure of fall {Denver, CO: Personal Reflection & Photography}

"Her pleasure in the walk must arise from the exercise and the day, from the view of the last smiles of the year upon the tawny leaves and withered hedges, and from repeating to herself some few of the thousand poetical descriptions extant of autumn, that season of particular and inexhaustible influence on the mind of taste and tenderness, that season which has drawn from every poet, worthy of being read, some attempt at description, or some lines of feeling."

~Jane Austin, Persuasion {Chapter 10}

This week Henry and I took a walk in the fall leaves with my Dad.  It was so lovely and I hope you to find the time someday soon to enjoy all the beauty of fall, before is withers as nature prepares itself for the harsh winter.  If you're like me, after your jont you'll curl up with a cup of tea and dive into your favorite Jane Austin for the 100th time, only to be reminded that she too must have loved fall.

Sigh.  Welcome fall. :-)
